Cooperation with Japan
We seek a Japanese partner for a joint project under Topic 1 on the development of production processes for the industrial use of renewable raw materials. Our interest focuses on biomass-based or recycled organic feedstocks that can be converted into valuable chemicals through integrated bio-based production routes.
We offer expertise in process synthesis, laboratory experiments supported by experimental design, process simulation using Aspen Plus and ChemCAD, and process integration for bio-based production. We are particularly interested in linking bioconversion routes with downstream reaction and separation steps and with scale-up-oriented process development. We welcome collaboration with Japanese partners working on biomass conversion, fermentation, enzymatic processes, or related renewable feedstock-based technologies.
FH Münster – University of Applied Sciences is a practice-oriented German university with strong expertise in chemical and process engineering. The university combines applied research with industrial relevance and has broad experience in process development, laboratory-based validation, and engineering-oriented problem solving.
Our contribution includes process synthesis, laboratory validation supported by experimental design, and process simulation using Aspen Plus and ChemCAD. We also use laboratory and simulation data for data-driven process optimization.
