1. Materials: Development or advancement of technologies for production of value-added products from sustainably sourced biomass
We are looking for the research collaboration about conversion of biomass products such as biodiesl and glycerol to high value-added products via ketonization, epoxidation and hydrogenolysis reaction. We also has expertise in molecular simulation and process economic and carbon credit evaluation.
Center of Excellence on Catalysis and Catalytic Reaction Engineering (CECC), Chulalongkorn University is a leading research laboratory in the field of catalysis and catalytic reaction engineering in Thailand. The laboratory was established in 1979 by Prof. Dr. Piyasan Praserthdam. In late 1997, CECC became the core laboratory for catalysis research activity and technology transfer from well-established laboratories to other institutes. In 2001, CECC received international recognition from hosting the Bangkok International Conference on Heterogeneous Catalyst, the first international conference on catalyst in Thailand.
